DESCRIPTION:As a biennial of light art and urban design\, Luminale pursues the objective of creating a popular and high-quality program in terms of artistic and contextual content. \nAnother key objective is to make a lasting contribution to urban development – in dialogue with artists\, creative minds\, city planners\, scientists and city dwellers. Projects that revolve around urban visions in the areas of light\, architecture\, technology\, ecology\, social interaction in the city or with its history and culture\, make it a tangible experience – accompanied by an interdisciplinary dialogue. \nIn this process\, Luminale sees itself as a source of ideas and impulses\, as well as a coordinator\, a communicator and a test laboratory.
