\n\n\n\nLight pollution awareness walk and its impact on the environment – Differdange (LUX) 08.10.20<\/h2>\n\n\n
TNT and the City of Differdange organized an awareness walk on light pollution and its impact on the environment on Thursday 8th October 2020.<\/p>\n
The objective of this walk is to raise awareness among participants about light pollution and its impact on the environment. Its route will allow participants to discover the concept of light pollution and to travel through different areas where it is visible on the territory of the municipality of Differdange, but also to realize the efforts that have been made to reduce it.<\/p>\n
The walk was organized in the Municipality of Differdange (LU), in partnership with the Natural Park of Our (LU), a methodological partner of the project who provided their expertise throughout the course. <\/p>\n\n\n

The participants will walk a chosen route at nightfall, accompanied by Radiance 35 teams who will collect their impressions. Lighting equipment will be loaned for the occasion and users will be able to experience and interact with the light.<\/p>\n
This collective experience will enable proposals to be made for improving the night-time environment.<\/p>\n
This first walk was made up of an audience of professionals from the lighting sector. After a walk through the urban environment of Li\u00e8ge, it ended with an experiment with lighting equipment loaned and put into practice by the company Schr\u00e9der (BE).<\/p>\n\n\n

Carried out in collaboration with the TNT (LUX) and the University of Li\u00e8ge (BE), these co-creation workshops bring together students from the IUT of Longwy (FR) and the ESA Saint Luc Li\u00e8ge (BE). They will be led by ID Campus (BE) using the “design thinking” method.<\/p>\n
The aim of these workshops is to work on the design of lighting prototypes that meet the specific requirements of the TNT municipalities in terms of light pollution, impact on biodiversity and energy savings.<\/p>\n
Bringing together some 40 participants, this 6th and final workshop aimed at the final presentation of the prototypes to the TNT municipalities :<\/p>\n
